Gwen Jones: Friendship, Fun and Frivolity

Gwen Maughan (1902-1988) left behind boxes of photographs, letters and documents bursting with mysteries of her life before she was a wife, mother and nanna. This photo essay captures a period her family knew very little about – a time when she was an independent, educated, adventurous and free-spirited young single woman.
